What Is Fiesta Noche del Rio?

Fiesta Noche del Rio is a professional, family-friendly musical revue held every summer at the historic Arneson River Theatre in downtown San Antonio. It is the longest-running outdoor performance in the United States, featuring live music, singing, and dance styles from across Latin America, Spain, and Texas.
The show runs Friday and Saturday evenings from late May through early August and is produced by Alamo Kiwanis Club.

What Fiesta Noche del Rio Is Not...

We understand the name "Fiesta Noche del Rio" can sometimes cause confusion, so we want to clarify:

• Fiesta Noche del Rio is not part of Fiesta San Antonio.
  While we share the spirit of celebration, we are a separate production with a different mission, season, and organizational structure.
  
• We are not a festival.
  Fiesta Noche del Rio is a ticketed stage performance, not an open-access street fair. We do not have:
  
  • Food booths or vendors
    
  • Merchants or artisan markets
    
  • Carnival-style activities or public performers
    
• We are not accepting vendor applications.
  Because we are a performance, not a festival, we do not provide space for pop-up booths, concessions, or third-party sales.
  

Sponsor and Underwriter Opportunities

We do offer limited sponsorship and underwriting opportunities. These are arranged in advance and may include:

• Recognition in programs and announcements
• Reserved seating for your guests
• An information table at the top of the theater (pending approval and timing)

These opportunities are part of custom sponsorship packages and are not available for general sign-up.

Why is it called Fiesta Noche del Río if it’s not a Fiesta San Antonio event?

Fiesta Noche del Río was established in 1957—two years before the Fiesta San Antonio Commission was officially founded in 1959. The word “Fiesta” simply means celebration, and no one owns a verb! While we are not affiliated with the official Fiesta San Antonio calendar of events, our show is a vibrant cultural celebration of music and dance along the River Walk.
We like to think of it as giving everyone a little taste of Fiesta—all in just an hour and a half!
