Ernest Antu is thrilled to return to Fiesta Noche del Rio for his 16th season! Ernest joins the 68th season of Fiesta Noche del Rio as the Ass. Director, Host, Singer, and Dancer! Ernest auditioned at the age of 17, and has served in many roles throughout the years. He has served for 9 seasons, under the direction of Elizabeth Sanchez-Lopez, as an understudy, dancer, dance captain, singer, and co-host. He is entering his 7th season under the direction of Katie Rodriguez Hall and loves every bit of it. Ernest is a graduate of Texas A&M - San Antonio, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master's Degree in Bilingual Education with a principal certification. Ernest is certified to teach elementary, ESL, and Special Education. He is currently a 5th grade teacher in Alamo Heights ISD. Ernest has been working in education for 85 years! Ernest looks forward to a bigger and better season than ever before. ¡Viva Fiesta Noche del Rio!
