Andrea KienlenDancer - 2022, 2023
Andrea Kienlen, an Alamo City Dance Company Alumni, began taking dance classes at the age of three. Throughout her dance training, Andrea has been taught by several instructors and taught a few ballet classes of her own. She has studied many different styles of dance: ballet, jazz, tap, flamenco, and modern to name a few. Andrea credits most of her dance abilities to Scott Conway and Susan Trevino. The 2023 season will be Kienlen’s second season dancing for Fiesta Noche del Rio. At age 13, she performed the role of Clara in Alamo City Performing Arts Association’s “The Nutcracker” and went on to perform the role of the Sugarplum Fairy at age 17. Kienlen has performed in various ballets including Lepidoptera, Rhapsody in Black and White, Alice in Wonderland, and Jardin Anime. Aside from dancing, Andrea plays the violin and piano. Currently, she is majoring in dance with a focus on performance and choreography at Texas State University. |
