How long is the show?
The show itself is an hour and a half with a 15 minutes intermission. Depending on crowd size the show usually finishes between 10:15pm and 10:30pm
Where should we park?There is plenty of parking downtown, close to La Villita and the Arneson River Theater. We recommend:

Is it open seating at the theater?
Yes! It is open seating and done on a first come first serve basis. We recommend arriving 20-30 minutes (8:00-8:10pm) before show time to get the best seats! Want to be part of the show? Try sitting in the first 4 rows. Want to enjoy from a far, try rows 5 and up. Who can sit in the boxes? As long as there is not a reserved sign, you are welcome to sit there!
Is it wheelchair accessible?
Entering the theater from La Villita, there is a large area to accommodate wheelchairs and companion seating. Unfortunately there is no wheelchair seating on the Riverwalk level but there are several access points to restaurants and the river barges.
Can I bring my own chair? Food and drinks? Dog?
- You are welcome to bring your own stadium seats, but folding and camping chairs are prohibited. If you would prefer box seating please call the FNDR Box Office at 210-226-4651.
- We have a full bar and concessions for sale. All proceeds go to local children's charities here in San Antonio! Outside food and beverages, with the exception of water in a reusable container and baby food/formula, are prohibited.
- We welcome service dogs, lap dogs, and dogs that can dance! In other words, you know your pet best. If they can handle large crowds, loud music and small children then they are welcome but are the sole responsibility and liability of their owner. Please pick up after your pooch.
What happens if it rains?
The Arneson River Theater is an outdoor venue and Fiesta Noche del Rio's season is during the middle of Texas' notoriously unpredictable summer. Rain happens. If it is heavy rain, lightening or terribly windy the show will usually be called off by 7:30pm. At that point you can come to any of the other shows during our season, ask for a refund from our box office, or consider it a donation to our organization.
If it starts raining during the show we will make determination on what is the safest way proceed for both our guest and performers. If the show has already made it past intermission, no refunds will be issued.

Can I be a vendor at Fiesta Noche del Río?
Fiesta Noche del Río is not an official Fiesta San Antonio event, nor does it take place during Fiesta. It is a summer-long cultural performance series at the Arneson River Theatre. Because this is a theatrical production, we do not offer vendor booths. The only tabling or booth space at the venue is reserved for our named sponsors.
Why is it called Fiesta Noche del Río if it’s not a Fiesta San Antonio event?
Fiesta Noche del Río was established in 1957—two years before the Fiesta San Antonio Commission was officially founded in 1959. The word “Fiesta” simply means celebration, and no one owns a verb! While we are not affiliated with the official Fiesta San Antonio calendar of events, our show is a vibrant cultural celebration of music and dance along the River Walk.
