Diego began his dance training at the age of 9 and has been dancing with Alamo City Arts ever since. He has studied Ballet Folklorico, Latin Salsa, and Spanish Flamenco—and we are pleased to report that he no longer finds salsa scary. Growth!
In December 2024, Diego was cast as The Nutcracker in Alamo City Arts’ holiday production, where he heroically danced, battled, and twirled his way into audience hearts (and possibly a few snowflakes).
Now in his third season with Fiesta Noche del Rio, Diego continues to perform throughout San Antonio and across Texas with pride and passion. When he's not on stage, Diego plays soccer for Great Hearts Western Hills and was also a member of the high school boys volleyball team—because apparently, he doesn't believe in days off.
