Jesus Vazquez

Born and raised in Mexico, Jesus’ artistic career in Mexican folklore started as a child and developed professionally over the years.  While in Mexico, Jesus danced for the Guadalajara City Folkloric Ballet, the UAT Folkloric Dance Company and the ITCM Folkloric Group among other Mexican folkloric organizations until 2012. In US, Jesus was named 2019-20 Artistic Director at Veronica Robles Cultural Center @ Boston MA, he danced with the Bailadores de Bronce Folkloric Group in Seattle, WA, and the Guadalupe Dance Company in San Antonio, TX.  Jesus is currently the Director of Ballet Folklorico de Alamo City Arts and instructor at Alamo City Arts Academy in San Antonio, TX.

​Some of Jesus’ accomplishments include multiple awards as soloist, duet and choreographer at national competitions in MX and US including 2024 Competencia Folklorica de Tejas and 2023 Festivales de Mexico.
