Now in his third season with Fiesta Noche del Rio, José Carlos Valdez continues to capture the hearts of audiences with his sultry voice, signature side part, and piercing blue eyes.
He first encountered the show while working at a neighboring restaurant and thought to himself, “I can do better.” Spoiler alert: He was right.
Since then, José Carlos has become an indispensable member of the cast. Whether lending his voice to the stage or bringing endless energy backstage, he is always ready to do whatever is needed to make the show shine. Over the years, he has also experienced tremendous personal growth, most notably accepting that there is, in fact, a time and a place for sparkly shirts.
Director’s Note: We get asked a lot—no, José Carlos is no longer single. Sorry, San Antonio. Someone beat you to it. Fortunately, the hair, the voice, and the occasional sequined button-down are still available every Friday and Saturday night.
