Kaylee Mejia is excited to join her 2nd season with Fiesta Noche Del Rio as a dancer this year. She began dancing at the age of 4 studying ballet, jazz and hip hop adding folklorico at the age of 5 at the San Antonio School for the Performing Arts and is now with Alamo City Arts. Her first production was “The Nutcracker” and has continued to be part of this cast for 9 seasons. She has also been a part of a variety of other productions including Lepidoptera, Peter and the Wolf, La Jolie Garden and has performed in the Ford Holiday Parade for 3 years. She is currently part of the corps de ballet with the Alamo City Dance Company and will be performing in “Peter and the Wolf” and “Little Red Riding Hood” this spring. Kaylee has developed a passion for dancing and hopes to continue through college and to seek out other opportunities as a professional dancer. Outside of dance Kaylee is a part of the National Honor Society and enjoys being part of her schools choir, and dance team!
