Kaylee MejiaDancer - 2024, 2025, 2026
Understudy/Swing - 2023 Kaylee Mejia is excited to return for her fourth season with Fiesta Noche del Rio. A versatile and accomplished young performer, Kaylee began her dance training at the age of four and quickly developed a passion for the stage. Her training includes ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and Ballet Folklórico, allowing her to bring both technical strength and dynamic artistry to every performance.
Kaylee currently dances with Alamo City Arts, where she serves as a Soloist with the Alamo City Dance Company and performs with Alamo City Ballet Folklórico. Throughout her training, she has appeared in numerous productions including The Nutcracker, Lepidoptera, Peter and the Wolf, La Jolie Jardin, and A Midsummer Night's Dream. She has also been a featured performer in the Ford Holiday River Parade for four consecutive years. In 2025, Kaylee earned statewide recognition at the STC State Folklórico Competition, placing 3rd in Solo Contemporary and capturing 1st Place in Folklórico Duet. Known for her strong work ethic, versatility, and stage presence, she continues to pursue opportunities that challenge and inspire her growth as an artist. Outside of dance, Kaylee is a member of the National Honor Society and remains active in her school's choir and dance team. She plans to continue dancing throughout college and hopes to pursue a professional career in the performing arts. Director's Note: Kaylee didn't turn in a bio, so we're filling in the gaps.
