Veronica TakachSinger - 2019, 2021, 2022
Dancer - 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023 After having to tag along to her older sister's dance classes and recitals (she was less than a week old when she attended her first recital), Veronica first took to the stage at just 2 years old at the inaugural recital with Lonestar Collective Dance under the loving and experienced guidance from Michelle Becken Hackebeil. After that, she continued to thrive at San Antonio Dance Academy and quickly advanced into upper-level classes in all genres at young ages. In the spring of 2019, at just 9 years old, she auditioned for Fiesta Noche del Rio for the first time. Thanks to her 4 years of vocal training with the Children's Chorus of San Antonio, she earned a spot singing and dancing with Fiesta Noche del Rio. In addition to being a Fiesta Noche del Rio cast member 5 years running now, Veronica was blessed to perform the role of Clara in this past December's "The Nutcracker" with Alamo City Arts. She has also loved performing in the Ford Holiday River Parade televised locally and found on YouTube. Other notable performances with Alamo City Arts and Symphony Viva include La Jolie Garden, Seis Colores de Tejas, Spanish Sketches, and will be performing in The Tales of Beatrix Potter this Spring at the historical Fort Sam Houston Theater. You can also find her, and fellow Alamo City Arts dancers, sprinkled throughout the grounds at the McNay Art Musuem Sculpture Gardens through 14 digitally installed dances. Veronica is super excited for another summer performing with Fiesta Noche del Rio for locals and visitors alike. Viva Fiesta Noche del Rio!
